This last Memorial Day we went camping with Pastor Gregg and the Packard family. We left Sunday night around 5 and got to camp and set-up. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We had some great fellowship around the camp fire and then headed to bed. We then got up supper early (5AM)the sun woke the kids up, we had breakfast pancakes and bacon, which are now Jaxon's favorite food. We got everything together and headed down to the river to fish and hang out. We had a 1.5 mile hike down to the trail that led us down to the trail that got us to the river. We had just got down to the river when we heard the thunder and then we had about 5 minutes to find shelter and it started to pore on us big time, it rained and hailed and the temperature dropped quickly after 45 minutes under the rocks Tabor and Dave decided to run back and get the cars to so that we just had to hike up the mountain and not all the way back to camp. We did have a fun time, we didn't catch any fish though so we had to pack up camp and had to headed toward town and found a cafe to eat at and the went home. It was a great time to get away and have fellowship with some of our new church family.
